22nd Nov 2006, we all met at Sungai Buluh toll. As usual everyone was late. We arrived at 9:00am, bernice couldn't see any Ee or cheah-cheah. About 9:45, Sis Irene, Susan, Mom, Dad, Liana and Chai family arrived. After having breakfast we started our journey at about 10:30am. It was a long journey, we finally arrived in Tringkap at about 12pm, had lunch in a restaurant full of flies. The food was nice but you got to bear with those flies.
We stayed in Cameron Green Apartment, About 24 of us stayed in 2 apartments. Kids enjoy themselves running around, singing songs to entertain bernice as she request barney songs. Adults enjoy the food and chatting session. We ate and chat most of the time.
On the second day we went to an organic farm. We learn about organic farming and tasted raw sawi and raw beans, they were sweet and tasty.
The best of all was the food prepared and cook by sis Liana. We had 4 maids there so sis Liana organized the kitchen and we had wonderful food like 'bak chang' and pau for second day breakfast, stimboat on second night, scallop peanut porridge on the 3rd day breakfast, western bacon, sausages, ham and egg breakfast and many more.
Another thing not to miss is the strawberry juice. We found a shop near Equitorial Hotel that sell strawberry juice, very thick and pure, yum yum... the strawberry sold there are huge too, bernice love the strawberries.
We had a wonderful family trip this year. Looking forward for more family trips.
