Bernice Birthday Party

After a busy week making arrangement and plans for the big day, finally it's time to party. Ah Mah and AH Kong came yesterday night. This morning bernice woke up and as usual I bring her downstairs, put her in the living room. Ah Kong was sitting on the sofa, bernice stared at Ah Kong for minutes wondering what is Ah Kong doing in our hourse so early in the morning.
I personally made a birthday party banner for bernice. DD and I hang the banner infront of our house and DD want to blow the balloons to decorate the house. I got to put a stop as it's still early, only 10:30am.
Bernice's Mah-Mah, Kong Kong, Big Ku-Ku and Ling Ee arrived about 1pm. Woh they bought lots of things and present for bernice. As usual, bernice cry when they try to carry her. After lunch we started to prepare food for the party like fried chicken (by Ah Mah), fried wantan (Mah-Mah and me), Fruit Salad.
Guest started arriving at about 5:30pm, and the best thing is I forgot to express my milk hehehe... I ran upstairs to express milk.
Party started at about 6:30pm, we have got lots of delicious food like ketupat and kurma chicken, mutton rendang, fried meehon, satay, toufo sumbat, fried chicken, fried wantan, fruit salad and guiling kou. yum...yum....
As for birthday cake, I bought a coffee almond from secret recipy and bernice Big Ee bought her a winnie the pooh jelly cake. Everyone sang birthday song to bernice in english, bahasa and mandarin. Bernice keep staring at everyone in amazed.
I decided to let bernice open her presents before she is too tired. At the beginning she was not good at it but after 2-3 presents woh.... you should see how she tear the present papers! Bernice got a nice activity table from Big Ee, a magnetic drawing board from 2nd & 3rd Ee, a nice posh potty from Kim-Kim, lots of clothings and angpow too. Last but not least a pair of clark shoe from mummy.
Bernice wished everyone good night at 9:30pm and off she goes to bed after a bottle of emb. As for the adults we party till 1am. What a great party. Thanks to everyone that came and also help make the party a wonderful and memorable event.
